Props

MariaeLISA CREATED the props for a production of The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe.

The props were all made out of everyday arts and craft supplies that would be found in a Childs playroom; popsicle sticks, cardboard, felt, string, markers, etc.

Susan and Lucy with the banner of the White Witch, made of felt, pipe cleaners, paper, colored with markers and colored pencils.

The prop design was born of the concept that the adventures the Pevensie children have in the land of Narnia are a creation of the overactive and wondrous imaginations of the children.

PETER BRANDISHES HIS SWORD AND A SHIELD MADE FROM FELT, CRAFT FOAM, KEBAB SKEWERS, CONSTRUCTION PAPER AND COLORED PENCIL.

What would the world of Narnia look like if it was all created with the items one would find in a children's play room?

Lucy shows off her dagger made from cardboard, felt, sticks pipe cleaners and tin foil.

The White Queen Battles Peter with a sword made of foam, sticks and tin foil.

THIS PRODUCTION AND IT'S DESIGN ILLUSTRATES THE POWER AND WONDER OF THE HUMAN IMAGINATION.
